Each of these sticks are crafted entirely by hand,as you might expect..from the cutting of the wood to the fitting of the ferrule.And each stick is crafted to retain it's natural features and characteristics.

And all are magically made,in exactley the same way as our occult wands and charms so you might travel knowing you are accompanied by the respective magical properties of your chosen wood.

 

Each stick is weatherproofed and fitted with a sound rubber ferrule and each is decorated with a hand braided nine thread wrist cord.

Thorn Blackthorn Walking Stick

Beautiful strong and sturdy stick..old blackthorn dark and gnarled.

This is no lacquered stick..the colouring is simply the bark,air dried to this wonderful deep red brown.

At the top of this stick there is a slight natural bend,making a comfortable handle..and the cut end has been scribed with the Thorn rune stave..for added protection on those lonely or dark roads.

This is a holed stick..meaning the wrist cord passes directly though the wood.

If there ever was a true witches stick..this is it.And eldritch stick,ever so slightly sinister.

This is common alder..always a highly decorative wood,beautifully and naurally coloured in shades ranging for creamy beige to rich red browm,complete with traces of the characteristic "red elf's blood" at the gnarls.

Runic Ash wood Stick

Classic forked ash wood walking stick,scribed with the 24 stave of the Elder Futhark along it's shaft.

A lovely classic ash wood stick,simple and light in weight with naturally forked handle,each of the forks being angle cut.

Now ash is generally quite a plain wood,butit is a traditional wood for the crafting of walking sticks because of it's flexibility and ability to bear weight...and of course,for it's protective qualities.

But then this is no ordinary stick..it comes with a complet set of rune staves clearly scribed in black pigments which run just beneath the forked handle to approx 3/4 of the way diown the shaft.Whilst the scribing of the stave might not win any prizes,they were never meant for simple ornamentation..this is a truely magical stick and the staves have been scribed and intoned by  a practising hel-runner.

This stick mesures 41.5 ins standing height and aprox 2 1/4 ins in circumfernece and is about as straiught as you could wish.It has been fitted with a solid rubber ferrule and a handbraided tied wrist strap.
