From amongst all the trees that populate the Wild Wood there is most often one with which  a person might find a particular empathy.It might not be the tree they imagined..or even the tree that they felt attracted to...oftimes a person can superimpose their own needs and desires onto a specific tree,seeing within it's lore something that appears to reflect themselves..or what they would like to be.During the course of a person's magical journey,they may well be faced with a tree they had thought little about..or had strong misgivings about.

But the relationship between a person and a tree can be complex..the tree spirit might enchance and amplify a particular ability in  a person..or it might counteract a tendancy,like a safeguard..it may bring aspects to a person character they never knew they were capable of..and it may subdue another.Tree and man might be soul mates,bearing the same nature..or they might be in total contrast,yet still inexplicably drawn together.Which ever tree you find your match with is the tree that will become your guide,your teacher,your source of comfort...part of your soul.It is not the one specific tree that you form a bond with..but all the trees of that species.Solace might be found there,but more often than not,the tree a person bonds with will address significant aspects of their character,adding strength where it is needed or correcting damaging tendancies.Coming face to face with your spirit tree is challenging,soul searching..a magical journey into your own psyche,soul and physical being.Ultimately,a persons spirit tree will become  a powerful magical partner,but that is not to say there will not be tears and tantrums along the way.

Perhaps it's best to say that eventually,despite many false illusions,everyone will find themselves inexplicably drawn to one tree or another.Some are asigned a tree at birth and grow up knowing the nature and all the magical,spiritual and medicinal correspondances of that tree from a very early age..and some,coming later to the craft, adopt  a tree...or are adopted by it.

Whichever is the case,there is a bond between man and tree that defies rational explanation.A trust for want of  a better word..a bond,a tryst and a deep understanding.

There is a belief that says should you wish to return to a place..or wish to retain the spirit of something with you,then you must take a part of it..a rock,some soil,feather or fur..or a leaf or twig.As long as you retain your treasure you will have the power to summon the spirit of that something to you..and will always walk in it's shadow.

This is a collection of tiny but very beautiful and precious wands you might carry everywhere with you.

We've named them Spirit Walkers..so you might always walk with the spirit of the great trees of traditional crafts.

But be under no illusion,these are not simply amulets,they are working occult wands..and the same level of care has gone into their crafting as goes into every full sized WyldeWood Wand.The difference is that these wands are discreet,you need never be parted from them..never without the magic of your chosen tree.Wonderful tools for those who must keep their craft hidden,powerful magical tools for conjuring or meditation..and a constant connecting force between man and tree.

 

Each of these wands measures between 6-7 inches in length, the thickness will vary depending on the wood itself.Each wand is fitted with a small copper ring and  a hand braided cord in black,red and green,though you might request whichever colour or combination of colours you find significant.

Beautifully coloured from black to almost white scorched wood..yet still strong..a heart of oak to withstand even the ferocity of a thunder storm.

Formidable old blackthorn..twisted and gnarled and strangely pattened by nature.

This is very old wood,from a group of blackthorns so twisted and interwoven it's hard to tell just which tree is which.

Beautiful rich honey coloured wood with dark gnarling and natural twisting..set with a hematite carbochon stone at the top ..for strength,support and the repulsion of negative influences.
